This month I read an article about how Environmental Engineering Is Vital for Our Future. The article's purpose was to inform the reader on how environmental engineering has grown and became successful over dozens of decades and how this growth cannot stop in the 21st century.

Main points:
1. Management of solid waste has become a huge problem. Landfills are now overfilling; however, scientists are currently finding way to recycle more and more materials.
2. The increase occurrence in droughts and flooding have drastically put strain on the food supply and economy, but engineers are implementing solutions like irrigation channels.
3. Water can also be reused from housing and businesses as it is filtered through facilities to be used again.
4. Air pollution has also been a big issue as greenhouse gasses are causing worsening air quality, temperature influx, and acid rain.
Thank you for your time and come back new month for a new post.
