Algae Bioreactor by Cornersteel Manufacturing

Hi, for this post I wanted to talk about the opportunity that I have accepted. Throughout this summer and the next, I will be researching and writing a paper on Cornersteel Manufacturings new project in the Philippines. Due to government initiative in the Philippines, Cornersteel Manufacturing opted to reduce its carbon footprint by implementing an algae bioreactor. Throughout their journey on this project, I will be reporting on their new findings such as which species of algae is most efficient and the process to which they have completed the project.

I find climate change and the carbon footprint to be a huge problem in our world today and by writing this paper, I hope for this process to be implemented onto other carbon emission plants around the world. For the next couple posts I will be reporting on article I found to help better my knowledge on algae, other bioreactors around the world, and similar projects related to Cornerstone's design.
