Hi, today I will be discussing my findings for my research project by explaining the background of it. Since carbon emissions is what is fueling the development of the algae bioreactor in Cornersteel Manufacturing, it bargained the question: How bad is carbon emissions in the Philippines?

- Energy production and consumption is one of the primary sources of carbon emissions in the Philippines
- These carbon emissions contribute to air pollution and poor air quality which lead to major health implications
- Since Filipinos heavily rely on energy consumption, particularly from non-renewable sources, it exacerbates carbon emissions.
- Environmental degradation such as ruining habitats, wildlife, and the climate have all been affected by carbon emissions.
- Mitigation: The Philippines have adopted low-carbon technologies to further reduce emissions
Thank you for reading my blog and see you next time!
